Eh it's alright, no hard feelings, but what you should have really looked at was the intelligence levels of both of us, but what I wanna know what exactly makes my perspective on intelligence so "immature" ?

You have to incoprerate laziness as a factor in intellect. If you know a kids that an idiot, but he's on honor roll, it's because he knows he's an idiot, so he studes to earn his grades. You might just know a smart, hard working person that just naturally gets good grades. But if you know a really bright kid, that's getting bad grades in school when he knows damn well he could be doing better in class, those are the idiots. Believe it or not, the grades you get in school reflect what your intelligence. It's not what you know, but how you would use what you know to benefit the world in some way. But if you're just smart and lazy, you're a complete dumbass in my eyes. C'mon, you ever heard someone say "I'm smarter than most of the people in this class, but I just don't feel like doing the work". C'mon! That level of contradiction is complete stupidity.

does laziness really reflect a person's intelligence level? ._.
in my opinion, not exactly. i've met quite a few people who r much lazier than i am, but has the brains to leave me in the dust. and then, when u sit next to one of them in high school after they've changed into a person who gives a semi- good effort, u know that they'll kill u when its time to get a job. lol

so based on what you're saying;
A person that's genius in mechanical engineering, but to lazy to get a job in that field is smart?

smart as in brains, yes. good decision skills to make the effort to GET the job is another story.
like i said, those people who put the slightest effort would leave the hard working people behind. they only catch up merely because the latter is too lazy to continue.

I disagree, so I'm not gonna take the basis of my argument above the lowest level. There's no need to divert emphasis on laziness or brains when the foundation of my argument lies in kids and not adults. A smart child with bad grades, is a child that has the potential to get good grades. A child with good grades is unarguably a smart child. Same as adults. I know kids that could probably beat bobby fischer in a chess match. Do you know where they live? In Brooklyn, and as we speak they're probably doing nothing with their lives, and not because they can't, because they have the potential to do so, but because they don't feel like it. They are stupid, because they are lazy.

Do you get what I'm saying?

Silas, A book and a letter grade cannot tell who you are, grades reflect on the amount of effort you put into something not the amount of knowledge and intelligence because I assure you if it was we'd have alot more young black men in college, and like Einstien said "imagination is more important than knowledge" because knowledge is limited, School is a big ass waste of time in a childs life, Everything I know today I tought myself by reading books, articles, contemplating my surroundings, and some stuff I know just do to common sense, you don't learn a god damn thing in school besides to stfu, memorise whatever the teacher told you to do and get to work,besides people with degrees are getting laid off and I don't see the point in being a slave the rest of your life anyway, sure you might get paid 100,000+ a year but half that money is spent on food,bills, taxes, you're not enjoying any of that money cause you're too busy trying to survive while you're boss never finished school but owns a yacht and a mansion

I guess my next question would be how can you have a whole lot of respect for someone you don't even know.
