Ebisu is Konohamaru's tutor, and claims to be a "shortcut" at becoming Hokage. He held the common attitude towards Naruto as a demon punk, and looked down on him during their first encounter. Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on one's point of view,) he lost to Naruto quite dramatically when Naruto unleashed his Harem no Jutsu on him.

Later on, he tutored Naruto, and his opinion of Naruto changed for the better when he realized that Naruto was a better teacher to Konohamaru than he was, which led him to acknowledge Naruto as a good ninja. After being knocked unconscious by Jiraiya at the women's bath, he went back to teaching Konohamaru.
