Put your opinion on weed

I'm proud smoker who is interested in hearing what others think. I for one think that a little weed a day keeps the doctor away plus in today's culture how can the government expect people not to smoke something that grows from mother earth when it's in almost every movie you see and song you hear.

Not on daily basis, but it sure makes the day look more interesting every now and then. I don't endorse it whatsoever.

About advertising the product on the media, we make movies about bloody homicides ever since god knows when, why would drugs and porn cause a greater impact than death? Bites me man. Kids can't do drugs nor interact sexually, but they can blow their school no problem

I smoke weed, I like it a lot. I use to smoke weed all the time in high school but since then I had to wise up and stop a little because i had to finish college and find work. I really don't think there's a problem with it personally unless you're mentally addicted to it. As in, you feel that you need weed just to live. While it is safer to your body, I can't completely agree that it is harmless to your brain.

I do think it's stupid that most employers would drug-test you before receiving a job. I mean, what somebody does in their spare time is what they do in their spare time. If that were the case, then how come they don't test us for alcohol as well? Why would it be okay for you to have a drunk and not a pothead?

On terms of morality. Once again, i think it's bad only if you're mentally addicted to it. I'm not religious but I am very spiritual(Christian, just don't believe in the mass thing) That being said, there's more "things" not just drugs, that you can get mentally AND physically addicted to. You can get addicted to chewing gum, coffee, soda, cortisone, and even McDonalds. All that stuff has been proven that when not eaten or taken in moderation it will lead to death.

No here's the thing, why are all of those products legal and not marijuana? It's the simple rule that it's a dog-eat dog world. In the beginning, when America did come across marijuana, it was primarily being grown in "third-world" or "second-world" countries. I have a theory, that the government saw the demand of this product arise and probably saw to ban the product in-order to keep America's strong hold on economy.

There's also the religious factor as to why weed isn't legal. A lot of Christians and other religions in America see weed is evil or the devil. While, I myself who believe in God can't think of a reason why God would create a plant that is evil, I can understand a bit more logical reason as to why it's evil. The truth of the fact is, there's a lot of people who do nothing but smoke weed all day, don't have a job, and aren't very productive in life. I mean, thats the only real problem I see with weed. A lot of people get addicted to it, forget responsibility and get real lazy.

I'm not saying EVERYBODY get's like that, but a majority of them are. I mean, a little weed every once in a while is cool but damn, 6 blunts a day? Nigga you trippin!(literally) That being said, if weed really is a product of the Earth like red meat, coffee and prescription drugs, it should be used in moderation. Too much of anything isn't good for you. That's my motto. Fuck "YOLO".

Weed technically isn't the cause of people fucking up their lives. Its generally who they smoke with. I used to smoke awhile back non-stop with my cousin and I was alittle retro back then. Now I do it on and off with friends and the mood just changes you.

It's not bad, but it should be done in moderation, just the same as alcohol, and whatever else you do.
