I don't even watch the anime although I read the manga. Knowing that it was Obito who was fighting Minato makes that fight 10 times better.

You actually like Obito being Tobi?
I hate the idea. Lol.

Anyone else would ruin the whole story IMO. Kakashi is always emo for his supposedly dead friend who turns out to be not so dead. xD

I still don't know why Obito decided to attack the village. Or why Kakashi killed Rin.

Because Kakashi promised him he would protect Rin at all costs, and Obito was uber in lover with her. So seeing the one person he entrusted to protect the one person he loved more than anyone else crushed him. And he decided to illogically change fate so he could bring her back.

Aside from that, he needs the bijuu's in order to fulfill Madara's plan, and Konoha has the Kyuubi, which led to him attacking the village in order to gain control of it.

Quick question, how did Obito summon Kyuubi if he was still inside Naruto's mom?

"Twelve years before the start of the series, after the end of the Third Shinobi World War, the Third Hokage and his wife made preparations to ensure that Kurama would remain sealed within Kushina as she gave birth to Naruto. However, despite keeping her childbirth a secret, Obito Uchiha discovered Kushina's location, killed her escorts and managed to break the seal, seizing control of Kurama. Since Kushina survived the extraction, Obito tried to have Kurama kill her before Minato got her and their son to safety. Soon afterwards, Obito summoned Kurama into Konoha and ordered it to destroy the village."

Obito being Tobi IS what ruins the story... hell, it has been ruined before for me but this is the nail to the coffin. It created so many plotholes which even this flashback couldn't fill in that I don't even know where to begin.

Holy crap, the revelation of a chapter had ten million different errors in the time line. It was extremely embarrassing considering how the whole manga practically built up until that very moment.
Gosh, anyone but Obito. PLEASE. His back story is extremely lame might I add.

Well, for one thing, Kakashi graduated the academy at the age of five and became a chunin when he was six yet somehow he ends up taking the chunin exams with Rin and Obito even though they became chunin at... 11 (?). Then, Minato's face was already on the Hokage monument... Erm... guess he was so awesome that he was up there before he even got the title.
OH. MY FAVORITE ONE. When Anko is also seen fighting in the exams even though she's would have been like... 2 years old at the time. Hahahah, man, and everyone said Kakashi was a prodigy.

And that's just the surface of the timeline errors. I mean, really. It was suppose to be an important chapter, finally revealing who Tobi was. And then... THAT happened.

Can you blame so many people for being so disappointed? (Not to mention the ridiculous back story...)
