Biography

Utakata is a Missing-nin from the Hidden Mist Village and the jinchuriki of the six tails slug. Utakata refuses to use the six tailed slug's chakra and is currently on the run from the Hidden Mist Village anbu. Utakata left his village believing his master attempted kill him and has lost trust in student and teacher bonds. Utakata utilizes many different kinds of bubble line techniques in battle as well as being proficient in taijutsu and being extremely intelligent.

Utakata first appeared when a band of thieves attempted to steal a forbidden jutsu from Mount Katsuragi. Naruto and his team were sent there to protect Mount Katsuragi and the jutsu, Naruto mistook Utakata for the enemy at first before realizing they had the same goal. Utakata then left the jutsu and the girl that possessed it in the care of the Konohoa ninja and set off on his own. A day later he met the thieves in battle and rushed back to protect the girl although he would never admit to it. Naruto and Utakata gradually became friends but were unaware that they both were jinchurikis. Utakata came to the realization that his master had not tried to kill him and once again gained faith in the student and teacher relationship. Utakata utilized the six tailed slug's chakra to save the young girl and end the forbidden jutsu ultimately agreeing to become the young girl's master. Utakata was soon killed afterwards when he was ambushed by the six paths of Pein and the six tails slug was extracted from his body.
